Ian Blain graduated Magna Cum Laude from The State University of New York at Brockport in 2016 for Physical Education. Holding certification in two states, Mr. Blain has been teaching in the state of Arizona since 2017. As a current Avondale resident, Mr. Blain is highly involved in the community and is extremely excited to be working at Highland Prep West right here in his current town. Mr. Blain has coached soccer, football, basketball, wrestling, and rugby, and recently won the State Championship (2022) for middle school basketball as a coach. He has also served as athletic director and is a certified instructor for USA Archery as well as a high ropes challenge course facilitator (over 250 hours).
