Meet Principal Alessio
Jessica Alessio is a bilingual educational leader who has spent the past 15 years educating high school students across the globe. She has taught as far away as Avila, Spain, and as close as the West Valley where she spent seven years in the Spanish/Psychology classroom. While serving in various teacher-leader capacities, Mrs. Alessio realized that her true passion is leadership and she spent four years leading curriculum and professional endeavors at her previous school before transitioning to her four-year run as principal. Throughout her various leadership roles, her school moved from a ‘B’ to an ‘A’ label, and quickly became recognized as one of the largest, most comprehensive charter high schools in the West Valley. Mrs. Alessio attained her principal certificate through Arizona State University and holds her M.Ed. in Instructional Design from Western Governors University. Through her undergraduate studies at Indiana University, Bloomington she holds a B.S. in Secondary Spanish Education and a B.A. in Psychology.
